Our children are not quiet and for the first time I could relax in lodgings where the children could be heard as well as seen. Brian could not do enough for us. We were upgraded to a Panorama room with spa, Brian personally helped us get all our gear to the base of Falls express. We had use of toboggans free of charge, the spa was HOT!!! Perfect for getting those aches and pains seen to, after a hard day on the slopes. The sauna was up to my husbands very exacting standards. The food was fabulous and plentiful. 7 courses each evening and a cooked Breakfast in the morning. Afternoon tea waiting for us. All day tea coffee and hot chocolate (with or without Marshmallows). Located closer to Village Bowl, the 10-15 minute walk to Falls express chair was not a challenge. We had 2 rooms for 3 adults and 3 children. Queen and single bed in the panorama room. There was also a trundle but we never told Grandma. King bed and bunks in the standard room for Grandma and 2 of the kids. We were located on the main level so could put kids to bed and stay in communal area without worrying. The views were excellent and bird-life abundant. Huge drying room to store all the bulky wet gear and the bar was well stocked. Santa visited on Wednesday night and we had a sumptuous Christmas dinner. Supper and Schnapps dished up after the Fireworks on Thursday night. If you are Blue black skiers you can ski straight to the lodge. There are some steps to negotiate to the drying room but not really of any consequence. I can not recommend this Lodge highly enough or thank Brian and his staff enough for a great holiday. Layla gets the biggest thanks for taking such a load off me by watching after my three beautiful highly active children in the evenings. Stayed June 30th until July 4th 2014.
